Das Leben nimmt viele Formen an, es rast voran, es windet sich durch Stromschnellen hindurch, springt bergauf und klettert bergab. Es bricht hinein und wummert tief. Es verliert sich und erstickt unter der Hitze der Welt. In Roses for my Funeral tanzt Maria Walser, begleitet durch das Decoder Ensemble durch diese Leben, nimmt es viel zu ernst und auf die leichte Schulter. Die Musik verführt jeden Augenblick in eine neuen Winkel dieses Schauspiels, während die Bilder miteinander um die Wette laufen.
